If out of bed on summer’s night You hear the crack of lightning bright, And spying there a shadowed shape, Fear not, my girl, nor flee in fright The scarecrow’s on his watch tonight. Your father said he'd be back before Christmas. That was two years ago. Now your mother's moving to work at a radar station in the rural edges of New Zealand, and unfortunately for you, she's taking you with her. To make matters worse, there's something rotten lurking in the bush beyond your grandfather's house... and it's coming for the two of you. Oh, and don't think the scarecrow will help you. He's useless. Girl & Scarecrow is a short fantasy visual novel game with a moderate amount of choice, eight or so characters, a couple endings and a big rat.
