Umbrellas, keys, cassette tapes, things nobody ever came back for… Each one has an owner and a story. His own story sits in the desk drawer: a postcard Elif gave him years ago, with a single line on the back: "Someday, together." In 1980, Elif simply didn't show up. No goodbye, no word. Seven years have passed. You run the counter Compare: The claim form on the left, the item in the middle, the ledger on the right. Do the serial numbers match? Is this person allowed to collect it? Decide: Who gets the item, who has to wait, who you can trust. A wrongly released item never comes back. Get by: Your wage, rent, meals and heating fuel all come out of the same wallet. Let your record slip and you lose phone calls; let it hit zero and you're dismissed. Be remembered: People don't forget how you treated them. Someone you help today may open a door for you tomorrow.
