關於 Elyndor: Age of Three Realms
A word from the developer
I've loved strategy games since I was a kid: building, growing, and figuring out how to win the next battle. Online strategy games with other people, though, have always made me a little nervous. I'm a bit socially anxious—storming a fortress is fine; switching on voice chat is another matter.
So I kept wishing for a single-player strategy game where I could face computer-controlled opponents and build at my own pace. Since I'm a game programmer myself, I spent my spare time making Elyndor: Age of Three Realms, first for my own enjoyment, and now for anyone else who might enjoy it. I hope you like this little world too. Leave the social pressure outside the gates; the NPCs will take care of the strategic pressure.
A continent divided between three peoples
After the night of Starfall, the old empire fell apart. The humans of Dawnlight, the Redfang orcs and the Silverleaf elves established their own realms, competing for villages, relics and leyline oases. At the heart of the continent, the Starfall Royal City remains in the hands of the empire's surviving forces.
In Elyndor: Age of Three Realms, you begin with a frontier village. Develop its economy, train an army and explore the world as you build a kingdom in a long-running struggle against rival AI lords.
Build your village and make every resource count
Produce Timber, Mystic Clay, Star Iron and Provisions. Upgrade resource fields and build warehouses, markets, academies, barracks and defenses. Construction and military preparations draw on the same resources: will you expand production first, or train troops before your neighbors are ready for war?
Choose one of three distinct peoples
- Dawnlight humans offer balanced development, skilled engineering and strong mounted warfare.
- Redfang orcs train quickly and favor aggressive play, using raids to build an advantage.
- Silverleaf elves excel at scouting, trade and defense, protecting their lands with mobility and traps.
Each people has its own architectural style, troop roster and strategic strengths. Find a pace that suits you, then try a different approach in your next campaign.
Compete with AI lords who develop their own realms
Other lords have villages, resources and armies of their own. They build, research, scout, raid, claim oases and found new villages. Read the map, rankings and battle reports to see where threats are growing. Reinforce your borders early, or strike before a rival's expansion becomes a problem.
Scout, march and lay siege
Train infantry, cavalry, scouts and siege engines. Plan raids, reconnaissance, reinforcements and attacks. Walls, traps, hero bonuses and garrisons all affect the outcome, while rams and catapults help break through enemy defenses. Every march takes time: coordinate troops from several villages to turn local victories into territorial gains.
Develop heroes and compete for oases
Send your hero to explore relics, gain experience and equip useful items. Clear wild creatures from leyline oases and claim them for extra production in nearby villages. Outposts beyond your walls need troops and supplies too.
Grow into a kingdom and pursue the final objective
Transport and exchange resources through the market to support the front line and new settlements. Build your realm's renown, found villages and organize production, reinforcements and attacks across several fronts. When your economy and armies are ready, march on the Starfall Royal City and complete the campaign.
Create campaigns with world seeds and adjust the map size, game speed, AI count and difficulty. Multiple world saves, manual saves and backup recovery let you enjoy a long campaign of conquest at your own pace.
