Core Idle TD

Core Idle TD is a minimalist tower defense game built around steady progression and smooth idling. Set up your defenses, counter different enemy types, collect cores, and unlock permanent upgrades to push deeper into endless waves. Whether you want to actively micromanage each wave or let the game run in the background, every run earns you progress toward the next milestone. - 5 Distinct Turrets: Build Gatling, Sniper, Heavy, Frost, and Flame turrets. Each fills a specific role against swarms, armored units, and shielded enemies. - Corner Node Bonuses: Placement matters. Placing turrets on specific corner nodes gives them damage multipliers and better coverage across multiple lanes. - Permanent Research: Defeat bosses to collect Cores. Spend them in the Core Lab on upgrades that persist between runs—boosting base damage, income, and compound interest per wave. - 5-Tier Ascension: When progress slows down, reset your run through the Prestige system to unlock permanent perks and push even further on your next attempt. - Emergency Protocols: Spend cores mid-wave for clutch saves—slow down all enemies, overclock turret fire rates, or trigger bonus gold sweeps. - Global Leaderboards: Optimize your turret grid, refine your lab build, and compete with players worldwide for the highest cores earned. - Idle-Friendly QoL: Includes wave auto-start, game speed toggles (up to 5x), and clean stat breakdowns.
