Who is she? An immortal vampire making the most of the 70s and a preppy, scatterbrained serial killer. Clean Living is a hand-drawn, atmospheric, dark puzzle game where each piece of the mystery can bring our not-quite-heroines closer together… Or tear them apart.

關於 Clean Living
You play as Carmen, a vampire who’s simply trying not to starve. Set in the 70s, you enter a campy, morbid and sapphic story when you meet Lana, the miscast, local serial killer.
Key features:
- Everything is hand-drawn by the sole developer/artist, with some classic mixed-media horror sourced from the endless, mysterious well of the public domain, creating a 2D world that you can get sucked into for hours.
- A love letter to jigsaw puzzles. Decipher clues, find locations, and make sense of an ever-growing inventory of jigsaw pieces.
- A gripping mystery about the strange life of the deuteragonist, unravelling one clue and puzzle at a time.
- Multiple endings that change the story drastically. Decide the fates of these unfortunate women.
- You're a vampire! You hunt for blood! With a timing-based minigame.
"Clean Living":
Clean living movements are periods of moral panic surrounding health. In the USA during the 70s and onward, each step of women's and queer liberation, and the increasing consumption of drugs, was met with conservative backlash. This cycle keeps going. So, I chose Clean Living as the tongue-in-cheek title for a game about murder and women living their best lives. And in all fairness, Carmen doesn't consume chemical food additives, alcohol, drugs, or any over-processed foods.
