One building. 176 households. Twelve floors. Fourteen days. A zombie siege in a real Chinese city. You're not a hero — you're the guy on the 7th floor, with twenty neighbors who all speak different dialects. Scavenge by day. Stack furniture against the door by night.
One Building Is the Whole World
Z Weilou is a third-person 3D survival strategy game set in a fallen Chinese metropolis. You are trapped in Hezhou Wei, a twelve-story tenement in Shenzhen. 176 households. 21 named neighbors. Fourteen days.
There is no open world here. One building, and one square kilometer around it — but every drawer holds something, and every door has someone behind it. Or used to.
Density Is Depth
Four hundred cookie-cutter buildings full of identical water bottles? Not here. Every household in Hezhou Wei tells its own interrupted story: a couple who were mid-argument when it happened, a dinner left half-cooked, a safe full of badly-timed midlife-crisis purchases.
Twenty-One Neighbors, Twenty-One Dialects

Zhou Desheng (56, Xi'an) — a quiet veteran. The fire axe in his hand is his only toy.

Ma Hongliang (42, Zigong) — owns the diner on the ground floor, heir to a salt-merchant cooking school. Makes real Sichuan food, and Molotov cocktails.

Su Yaqin (39, Wuhan) — a neurosurgeon who was only passing through this city. She never made it home.

Sister Qian (50, Shanghai) — never without her account book: "Register it. Line by line."

He Xinxin (26) — reverse-grip knife and lockpicks. He watches you come home.
...and sixteen more neighbors you will meet one by one. Every single one speaks the dialect of their hometown.
Four Loops, Each Biting the Next

Scavenge by day — real Chinese city blocks: the supermarket, the clinic, the hardware store, the gas station, the substation, the handshake tenements.

Craft by night — a tech tree fed by military and engineering books found inside the building.

Defend every night — furniture stacked against the door, boards over the windows. No two nights are the same.

Negotiate always — vote, ration, quarantine, betray. When someone gets bitten, you decide their fate in front of the whole building.
A Very Chinese Apocalypse
Not a small American town. First-tier-city reality: urban-village renovation blocks, delivery scooters, shared bikes, a fire axe taken from an actual building fire cabinet, a folded floor plan in the security guard's drawer.
Fourteen Days
Day 1, you will think you only have to survive one night.
Day 3, you will think you have learned the rhythm.
Day 7, you will realize you have been preparing for the wrong thing.
Day 14 — maybe you live. Maybe your neighbors go first.
