The competition takes place over 10 rounds, through t0+ locations with a hundred grand’s worth of prize money up for grabs. BUILD YOUR DECK Equipment cards can be purchased from the shop or earned through catching fish and there is a huge variety of equipment to add to your fishing toolbox. From hooks, lines, bait and reels, to instant-effect special cards and rare item cards, each equipped card boosts or de-buffs your fishing ability - whether is speed, chance-to-catch or pure luck, you’ll need to choose your equipment wisely before setting off onto the lakes. HUNT YOUR CATCH Once out on the water you’ll need to read the area to discover where your likely catch will be hiding. Will the trout be hanging out in reeds or fallen timber? Will the catfish prefer the shallows or the deeps? Will the sturgeon make a rare appearance near the lily pads? Each fish has favourite swarming areas, favoured hooks and baits and you’ll need to think on your feet, equip the correct inventory at the right times and (if you’re in a tournament session) play to the clock. GET HOOKED Although tournament fishing is not fr the faint-hearted, you also have the option to fish for fun. Head out onto one of your favourite lakes, take in the atmosphere, get yourself a net full of common and rare fish to sell at the dock, and take the day at a pace that suits you.
