Sand to Soil

You've been deployed to restore the ecosystem on an erosion-ravaged desert planet. Sadly, the funding for this mission was poorly arranged, and you have almost no resources with you. You'll have to attempt to harness the power of the planet's hardiest inhabitant: a flowering species of sheep! If you take care of them they can provide you with all sorts of seeds and, most importantly, poop. A small, cozy terraforming game with a bit of sheep simulation. The missions Each mission you land in a new crater, and your goal is to fill a certain percentage of the map with plant-life. Completing missions gives you funds to spend on lots of upgrades and bonuses for new missions (yes, there's sheep bonuses too) . The amount of funds you get after completing a mission depends on various factors, like ecosystem diversity, new discovered plants, and sheep well-being. You start off with very tiny maps and unlock larger ones as you go and your capacity to terraform larger areas grows. Manage water, your leafy-woolly friends, and plants Plants need both water and soil to grow. The planet's rain cycle is dormant, but there is plenty of water under the ground to tap into. You need to use different means to distribute this water to the plants. Once water is taken care of you need to find actual seeds to plant, and make sure the sheep in the area have enough to eat so that they can produce more resources for you. The better you balance the ecosystem, the more sheep it will be able to support without your help. Discover the seeds of extinct plant-life The key to a truly self-sustaining and thriving ecosystem on this planet must lie in the ancient species of plants that used to grow here... the sheep seem to be growing various flowers on their backs, perhaps those produce viable seeds. No combat, no survival pressure There's nothing dangerous on this planet! And while the Interstellar Exoplanet Rejuvenation Foundation didn't have the resources to provide you with proper terraforming machinery, they have taken care of all your nutritional needs for this expedition, so you don't have to worry about eating or other survival concerns. Additionally, the foundation will occasionally send you some extra equipment and upgrades to help with your work. You don't tell the sheep what to do, the sheep do what the sheep want to do And sometimes all they want to do is panic and run around, or sleep all day.
