Ruinwritten is a dark-fantasy tactical roguelite where every order moves the battlefield. Push a troop into a three-slot file and every unit ahead of it shifts. The troop at the edge ejects, returns to your hand stronger, and becomes part of your next plan.
Build the formation the moment demands.
- Rally: Fill a file with one class and fight as a unified regiment.
- Tandem: Pair two matching troops beside a different specialist.
- Skirmish: Combine three different classes into an adaptable formation.
Draft a four-class warband and reshape its troop deck throughout the campaign. Combine class abilities, doctrines, relics, imbues, and troop upgrades into an engine that operates the battlefield differently every run.

Bosses telegraph their intent and impose fight rules that reshape how your files work. Those rules escalate as the battle unfolds. Read what is coming, rebuild your formation, and produce the right counter before the attack lands.
