Rise of the Machines In an otherwise ordinary medieval kingdom, a hi-tech force has been growing under the promise of Comfort and Safety for All. The Kingdom's Armor Enter your kind self, a repurposed suit of armor that belonged to the recently deceased "Hero of Legend". Half plate, half machine, your purpose has been indisputably programmed into your core ; Protect and serve the kingdom's citizens. The Seven Factions The Kingdom's going through a rough time ; Citizens are disappearing and everyone's got somebody to blame. The Hatters advise the Royal Family to send their Guards out against the Druids, who they believe to be the root of all evil. The Druids on the other hand, claim they'd never harm a soul and that all of their skirmi.. activism, is simply their rage against the machines, and the environmental toll associated with them. The Lutes are morally on the Druids' side, yet taking up arms is a tad extreme for them - changing the world through their music seems much more appropriate. And in all of this chaos, the Engineers are nowhere to be found, yet somehow Machines keep sprouting up all over the place. The Armor, as part of the Royal Guard is naturally caught in the middle of it all.
