Twin Oaths

Twin Oaths is a retro-inspired JRPG with tactical turn-based combat, random encounters and the unlikely coming together of a peasant boy and a princess. Key features - 6-8 hours of playtime. - Explore a full overworld with options to travel by foot, boat or "airship". - Visit 10 separate towns and other locations filled with quirky NPCs. - Enjoy the story through over 40 separate cut scenes. - Classic turn-based combat in the retro JRPG style. - Random encounters from the map (though not oppressively frequent). - Discover oodles of secrets in every dungeon, town or other map (including many secret areas to find on the overworld). - Experiment with over 100 item types with potentially game breaking combinations. - Dive into a combat system with multiple elements, varied skills and status effects – all of which have specific uses where they are better and worse. - Battle through 8 separate dungeons on the way to finishing the story. Story Every person in the kingdom receives one birthday wish from the king upon coming of age. For Chris, a poor peasant lad who lost his brother not too long ago, his only wish is to become the soldier his late brother wanted to be. In doing so, he will gain the respect of his father and put his sorrow to rest. Unfortunately for him, the princess of the kingdom shares a birthday on the very same day, and her own birthday wish will throw the two together. From there, both will be put into the most trying circumstances, where they will have to work together and bring a few characters along the way to help them overcome the odds, battle evil, and save the day.
