The Fade

The Fade is a psychological horror mystery game set in the small town of Willowbrook, where a strange illness erases people from both memory and existence. 25 years after the last outbreak, Mayor Judah Creed reopens the since sealed Lacuna Ridge Mine to profit off of rare Moldavite gemstones, bringing back the mysterious disease that tore Willowbrook apart. Not long after the first outbreak, beautifully strange purple flowers began appearing throughout Willowbrook. Even inside family homes. The townsfolk came to call them “the sacred flower,” although no one knew where they came from, what they meant, or why they stopped appearing when the mine was sealed. Play as main character Winnie Axler, born beside a sacred flower, who is known throughout the town as the "sacred child". Winnie is living proof of the tragedy no one fully remembers. But with the disease returning and the flowers spreading once more, the cracks in the town’s history begin to show. As secrets resurface and the truth gets harder to ignore, Winnie must uncover what has been swept under the rug before the town is lost to the Fade again. Will you save Willowbrook… or fade away like the rest? PLEASE NOTE: This is literally our first game ever in the history of our existences. There WILL be issues, bugs, and problems. This game is not set to release for the foreseeable future. As of October 20th, 2025 we are preparing a free demo version that is about 20-30 minutes of gameplay, within the next few months. However, the full game will not be released until we are sure we can do the story we have come up with justice. We would LIKE to be able to release this game within the next year, but we are not promising anything. We will be releasing updates when we have them, and we have a discord server and a twitter account, where we will be posting updates and teasers about the game.
