And now you are going to spend 15 days here. The only things you have with you are your undergraduate psychology degree, a couple of pills and a bunch of problems. The locals didn’t ask for help. But they could use it. Every appointment is a little interrogation. Every decision is a bet. Every prescribed pill is a step towards a normal life. So stop whining and start earning. The only way you know how. These poor things are going to die soon anyway. Everyone has problems, mistakes come at a high price, empathy pays off — but only half the time.
