Game Overview Padoria is a roguelike deck-building game that combines poker hand mechanics with turn-based combat. Use dual-faced cards to build two hands each turn and shift the battle in your favor through the synergy of equipment and jokers. Clear battles to expand your deck, unlock higher card numbers, and develop your own powerful build. Combat System Combat in Padoria is played by forming two hands simultaneously. Each card has a different top and bottom face, and every turn you create a top hand (attack) and a bottom hand (defense) to execute your strategy. The top hand deals damage to enemies, while the bottom hand blocks incoming attacks. Choosing whether to form stronger hands or flip cards at the right moment can completely reshape the flow of combat, creating a puzzle-like decision every turn. Use jokers and equipment to enhance your hands and adjust your combat style, finding the optimal play for each situation. Joker Synergy As you progress through battles, you will acquire various jokers to strengthen and personalize your build. Each joker changes the way you approach combat, allowing every run to unfold with a fresh strategy. Some jokers relax poker hand requirements, while others enhance specific card combinations, apply status effects, or even alter the scoring system itself. Depending on how you combine them, your build may focus on explosive burst damage, stable defensive play, or entirely unique strategies. Every run evolves differently based on the jokers you choose. Deck Growth & Progression After each battle, you gain higher-numbered cards and can remove unwanted cards to gradually refine your deck. As stages advance, your available options expand, creating the foundation for stronger hands. You will also receive token-enhanced cards that introduce new effects and influence the flow of combat. Adjust your deck’s density and direction to fit your intended strategy. As your deck develops and your structure solidifies, each turn’s decision becomes more impactful. Every run leads to a different build, revealing your own distinct playstyle. Stage Flow & Boss Battles Padoria progresses through a repeating loop of battles and towns. Test your deck in combat, then improve your equipment or jokers in town to prepare for what comes next. Stronger enemies appear as you advance, and each region culminates in a boss battle with a special penalty rule. Adapt to these penalties and put your build to the test as you push through each challenge. Defeat all four bosses to complete the campaign, after which the endlessly scaling Infinite Mode becomes available. Push your final build to its limits and take on never-ending challenges.
