Overflow is a first-person, exploration-focused game with an emphasis on atmosphere and environmental storytelling. Players take on the role of a teenager venturing into an elaborate stormwater facility in search of an old friend who has gone missing. By solving puzzles and uncovering clues hidden throughout the environment, players piece together the stories of others who have found themselves down here over the decades. But the deeper they venture, the more they discover that not all drains lead to the ocean - some lead to more interesting places. EXPLORE THE DEPTHS Grab your backpack and torch, and descend into the stormwater tunnels beneath FERROMASS, a sprawling derelict industrial complex that has long been a source of local intrigue. Wade through flooded tunnels, squeeze through grates, and follow branching passages deeper underground. Uncover infrastructure unseen for decades. But remember, it wasn't built with your safety in mind. LEARN FROM YOUR SURROUNDINGS Pay attention to what was left behind. Graffiti, discarded belongings, old equipment, and other detritus can reveal more than you might expect. FIND YOUR WAY INTO UNKNOWN PLACES Scavenge what tools and knowledge you can to work around obstacles, access sealed areas, and reach parts of the facility that were never meant to be explored.
