KROSTEL: Architecture Bureau Simulator

Build the bureau. Win the contracts. Make it run without you. KROSTEL: Architecture Bureau Simulator is a business management game about building an architecture and engineering company from the ground up. You start with a small office, limited cash and no team. Find your first clients, hire architects, take on projects and keep the company alive. As the bureau grows, every decision becomes more important: salaries increase, deadlines overlap, employees go on vacation, clients change their minds and larger projects require engineers, estimates, surveys and outside contractors. Build your team Hire architects, engineers, project managers, sales managers and executives. Every employee has different skills, speed, quality and characteristics. Develop strong specialists, manage workload and decide when it makes more sense to hire or outsource. Compete for contracts Clients do not automatically choose your bureau. Evaluate opportunities, choose how aggressively to price your proposal and compete against other firms. Reputation, price, quality, workload and your ability to start quickly can all affect the result. Manage real business pressure Revenue alone is not enough. Pay salaries, taxes, office expenses and contractors while keeping enough cash available for the next month. Use financing when necessary, but debt can create new problems of its own. Handle increasingly complex projects Grow from straightforward architectural jobs into projects involving structural engineering, electrical systems, water and sewer systems, estimates, topography, geology, technical surveys and measurements. Choose your partners Work with external specialists and engineering companies. Their true quality and reliability become clearer as you build a history with them, allowing you to develop a trusted network of contractors. Grow the office Move from a small bureau into increasingly larger offices as the company expands. Your workplace changes visually as your team and responsibilities grow. Automate the company At first, almost every decision depends on you. Later, project managers and executives can take over routine operations. Set company policies, delegate responsibility and build a bureau that can function without constant intervention. Your long-term objective is not simply to complete projects. Build a fully automated architecture bureau — and reach €1,000,000 in capital. You do not design the buildings yourself. You build the company that does.
