House of the Vigil

House of the Vigil is a short (25-35 minute) isometric horror narrative with an aesthetic evoking the GBA and PS1 era of gaming. It incorporates exploration elements, point-and-click sequences and a sinister atmosphere for a terrifying and classic-feeling experience. A babysitting job gone wrong has left Anna Turner trapped in an unfamiliar and uncanny home. Worst of all, she has lost track of Ben, the child she was meant to take care of. What was meant to be a night of easy cash has turned into a nightmare. Now she must navigate the home and the horrors within it. Can she find where Ben has gone and escape? - A story driven horror experience with point-and-click and environmental investigation sequences. - Decipher the mystery of the home you're trapped in, interacting with its inhabitants and objects. - All original assets inspired by isometric game classics and late 90's puzzle games. - All original soundtrack.
