Cognitive Displacement is a simple, small-scale management game where you take on the role of a junior manager running a remote research outpost. Oversee daily operations, keep your staff working smoothly, and guide the facility through its early development. The game is currently in Very Early Access, built with community feedback in mind. Your suggestions, ideas, and complaints help shape development in real time. Current Gameplay Loop - Queue Research to Gain Resources - Wait for it complete (More minigames coming soon) - Oversee the Defence every night - Allocate Resources to Strenghten Defences - Survive Until day 30 (30 minutes per day) Key Features - Assign research projects and watch progress unfold over time. - Downtime matters: sit back and monitor progress, or jump into the small Tablet minigame to pass the shift. - Simple upgrades and trinkets unlocked by completed research. - Focused, minimalist gameplay that emphasizes pacing and decisions over micromanagement. 📌 Important Notes Before You Buy - Saving is still under active development, Game may require restarting each launch Fixed - The game may require restarting between major updates Should'nt be a problem now. - Features, mechanics, and visuals will continue to evolve based on community input Cognitive Displacement is only a fraction of the planned final version — but it will grow, improve, and be refined continuously to the best of my abilities.
