Build farms, workshops, mines, and railways, manage your workers, and turn raw resources into a growing operation. Workers Run the Floor Assign workers to farming, mining, cooking, research, and production. Each worker has different traits and abilities, so where you assign them matters. Workers also need food. Grow crops, prepare meals, and use food bonuses to improve their efficiency. Supply a War The city is caught in a growing conflict between an invading empire and the local resistance. Take contracts from either side, meet their demands, and earn rewards, or ignore the conflict and focus on your own operation. Production Chains Turn raw materials into valuable products. Process wheat into flour and bread, ore into metal, milk into cheese, fruit into preserves, cotton into cloth, and more. Build efficient production chains and keep your workers supplied. Resources Never Run Out Ore continues to produce, trees can be replanted, fishing spots remain available, and oil deposits keep producing as long as you maintain them. Instead of constantly searching for new resources, improve the operation you already have. Trains Between Zones Expand into multiple zones with different resources and production needs. Build rail lines and depots, assemble trains with different wagons, and decide what each train carries and when it moves. Connect your operation and keep resources moving automatically. Raids and Guards Bandits may demand payment from your operation. Pay them or defend yourself with hired guards, weapons, and defensive positions. Choose what makes sense for your operation and budget. The Year Turns Seasons affect what you can produce. Plan around seasonal crops and fish, stockpile resources, and use the off-season for processing. Later technologies such as greenhouses and fish cages can reduce your dependence on the seasons. Build Instantly, Iterate Fast There are no construction timers. Place, move, or remove buildings instantly and recover your materials. Experiment with layouts, production chains, and logistics without waiting. Play While You Work Agromatic works well in windowed mode.
