A Dialogue Based Mystery-Adventure! Swords and Suspicion is a short, fun detective game set in Ancient Rome. The consul was just assassinated last evening. You play as a quaestor, a Roman detective, who must interrogate a roster of five suspects to determine the criminal. Was it staged? Was the death faked? Was he really killed by a sword? Put on your thinking cap and figure out who did it and how, all through the power of words. The game displays dynamic, engaging dialogue and dialogue options. The suspects have a variety of personalities, some serious, some timid, and some over-the-top goofy. At the end of the day, it's your call to decide which one is the killer. Skill Checks: Variety by Chance! In Swords and Suspicion, the player can roll on certain skill checks to change up each playthrough. This feature adds an element of RANDOMNESS and can lead to some very interesting, revealing dialogue (or sometimes very funny...) Each playthrough will bring a different piece to the puzzle of solving this murder! The first time you might crack it, but there might be details you missed by failing checks along the way.
