Skjold

Skjold is a game which is inspired by Nordic mythology. You have to fight your way through different worlds. A Game that is typical side scroller . The game is or profile view and plays from left to right. At the end of each level there is a main opponent to defeat. The game was set up for the Xbox controller, but can also be played with other controllers or with the keyboard. With the X button on the Xbox controller you can interact with objects and other things, for example picking up a sword or a shield. With the A key you jump into the air, and if you press the A key again while in the air you can make another jump. The B key is used to quickly dodge enemy attacks by sliding the player backwards. (Dash) Y is used to draw the sword and resupply it. RT is used to attack. There is a bar at the top left of the screen that shows your life. If it is empty, you have lost and the game ends. You can restart and try again. There is no limit. You can try as many times as you want. (Game Over) In each level there are special symbols to collect. If you find ten you get a special skill. Doors are sometimes locked and you have to find keys to open them. In some rooms there are puzzles to solve in order to progress.
