Scoundrel: The Descent turns solitaire into a dungeon crawl. Each room reveals four cards: monsters to fight, weapons to equip, and potions to keep you alive. Resolve three and carry the last card into the next room, or flee a dangerous room while you still can.
Fight with a weapon to reduce damage, or take the hit bare-handed to preserve your options. Your weapon can only fight monsters weaker than its last victim, and only one potion per room restores health. Every card you leave behind changes the next decision.Two ways to descend
The Steam edition includes both add-ons: Dungeon Run + Inventory Mode and the Emberforge Card Pack. Everything is unlocked from the start.
Classic: One deck, one life. Clear the dungeon and finish with as much health as you can. Short runs and quick restarts make each attempt another chance to improve.
Dungeon Run: Take on multiple floors, carrying weapons and healing supplies in your inventory. Survive the early floors, choose rewards between them, and see how far your decisions can take you.Replay, compare, and make it yours
- Replay seeded runs or share a seed with a friend to compare your choices.
- Track scores and run times in your local high-score tables.
- Switch between the original cards and the included Emberforge Card Pack, with its ember-lit artwork, frames, and sounds. Emberforge changes the presentation, not the gameplay rules.
- Use the "No AI art" setting to replace illustrated card art with simple icons. Background artwork remains visible.
- Play offline with mouse-driven controls.
