Riggin Farm: Raw Land to Riches is a single-player farming and business management RPG inspired by a real working farm and its owners, Nick & Ashley Riggin. Guide Nick and Ashley as they turn 25 acres of undeveloped woodland into a diversified agricultural business over a campaign spanning up to twenty years. Start with raw land, limited resources, and a shared ambition. Clear space for your home, establish your first growing beds, and decide which enterprises deserve your time and money. Watch the property take shape as gardens, orchards, pastures, high tunnels, and working buildings become part of everyday farm life. Every expansion changes the job. More crops need more harvesting. More animals need more feed. A bigger market display needs enough products to fill it and someone with enough energy left to sell them. - Two farmers, different strengths. Control Nick, Ashley, or both together. Divide the workload or team up on suitable jobs, making use of Nick’s strength in physical work and Ashley’s precision. Develop their abilities across six skill disciplines and choose perks that support the farm you want to build. - Grow the soil alongside the crops. Start seedlings under grow lights, transplant into prepared beds, and manage vegetables, orchard crops, and protected growing spaces. Soil fertility, crop rotation, cover crops, compost, weeds, and water all influence production. Harvest whole crops or return for successive pickings as plants visibly change through their growing cycles. - Raise animals that need real care. Build enterprises around chickens, pigs, and cattle. Manage feed, breeding, housing, fencing, and routine health inspections. Maintain the infrastructure that keeps animals safe, and round up escapees when a damaged fence turns an ordinary workday into an unexpected chase. - Turn the harvest into a product. Wash and bag salad, harvest and pack microgreens, cook preserves, and develop other value-added foods. Equip your Wash Pack building as the business grows. Ingredients, packaging, labor, refrigeration, freezer space, and dry storage all matter when deciding what to make and how much you can handle. - Get hands-on when you want to. Play optional mini-games for a chance at bonus XP, or watch the assigned farmer complete the task automatically. Collect eggs, milk cows, unload feed, mow pasture, prepare products, and tackle the market rush. The work still uses farm time and resources whichever approach you choose. - Build a business around what people buy. Prepare your farmers-market booth, organize displays and back stock, set prices, and respond to customer demand. Expand into farm-store sales and commercial accounts with restaurants and other buyers. Balance fresh inventory, delivery commitments, operating costs, and debt; a bumper harvest only helps if you can store it and sell it. - Give customers a reason to follow your farm. Take actual in-game photos, crop them, and choose a caption about farm life, growing practices, or upcoming products. Watch the feed fill with likes and comments. Marketing can build demand, but advertising products you leave behind (or selling out before the early rush is over) can damage your reputation. - Plan around weather, energy, and each other. Seasonal daylight and changing weather shape the working day. Heat, hard labor, fatigue, and lingering soreness affect what Nick and Ashley can accomplish. Make room for morning coffee, recovery, and time together while managing the pressure that a growing farm places on their morale and relationship. - Grow into the owner’s role. Build infrastructure yourself or hire contractors, maintain equipment, recruit employees, and eventually develop a manager who can take on more responsibility. Decide what to delegate and where your own time matters most. Work toward a farm that can support its owners and give them room to enjoy the life they have built. Plans will change. Storms roll in, equipment fails, employees call out, and repairs compete with harvests for the same afternoon. Sometimes the interruption is a serious business problem. Sometimes the barn cats have simply decided that your empty crates belong to them now. A playable demo will be released in October 2026. This two-day slice takes you to an established farm in Year 6, where you’ll guide Nick and Ashley through Friday’s farm work and product preparation before heading to the Farmers Market on Saturday.
