Icaropolis

Trying to escape a plague called The Growth, the city flies higher and higher. But by doing so, it starts to burn in the Sun. Icaropolis is a card-based, turn-based city builder game, where unlike more traditional city builders, the player does not have absolute control. Your power is enabled by the ruling council, shaping the way you govern Icaropolis. No longer only about the what is best for the city, a fierce game of politics must be played. As each member of the council desires to have absolute control, you must balance their influence wisely. Depend on them too much and you will become defenseless to their whims. Overlook them in times of prosperity and you will curse yourself in times of need. Act swiftly. The Growth plagues your city, forcing you to fly ever higher. Will you, amidst the political turmoil and the looming threat from below, guide your people to safety? Will you find for Icaropolis, home again? Playing through Icaropolis will take you around 2-3 hours, during which you'll: - Struggle for power with the council of ministers - Build up the city, soaring into the sky - Discover and upgrade your cards - Listen to your people, fearing a revolution - Flee from The Growth, hoping to escape it for good
