The outbreak started before anyone was ready. The first horde is already moving. You have 72 hours to contain it.
Command the Dead puts you in the commander's seat, not on the ground, but above it. Your theatre of operations is a tactical display: phosphor green, clinical, cold. Units move on your orders. Cities report their status. The map tells you what is happening. What you do about it is up to you.
This is not a game about fighting zombies. It is a game about managing a situation that is always threatening to get away from you. Hordes grow. Unrest builds. Civilians move. Cities fall under martial law, then into chaos. Every decision commits your finite resources, and every commitment leaves somewhere else exposed.
Your army units are autonomous. They follow orders, hold positions, engage threats, but they are not under your direct control. You are the FOB commander, not the soldier. Issue the order. Trust the execution. Watch the consequences unfold.
