Arlo Part I: The Past is a first-person supernatural psychological horror game that plunges you into one terrifying day inside the mind and home of Arlo, a young woman with a gift she never asked for.
THE STORY
Arlo has spent years running from her ability to communicate with the dead. But when the supernatural begins bleeding into her waking life, via dreams, voices, and memories, she can no longer ignore what she left behind. The past has come knocking.
And something ancient is on the other side of the door.
THE THREAT
Bifrons. A fallen angel turned demon. Ancient. Wise. Patient. A collector of souls, including someone Arlo loves. To save her grandmother from eternal torment, Arlo must confront the darkness she has always feared.
But Bifrons does not work alone.
Every demon in Arlo Part I is created from real demonological lore, ancient texts, grimoires, and occult tradition. Nothing here was invented for convenience. These entities have names, histories, and purposes that predate this game by centuries. If you know where to look, the horror runs deeper than the screen.
This is only the beginning.
GAMEPLAY
NO HAND HOLDING, objectives are never displayed. A detective mindset is required.
Proximity-based interactions, everything in Arlo's world must be discovered up close. Walk up, press E, and uncover the truth.
Environmental storytelling, interact with photographs, objects, and characters scattered throughout to piece together Arlo's hidden past.
Two handcrafted puzzles, one to ease you in, and one to test you.
Drive down the street and explore beyond the walls of Arlo's home.
Earn your way, unlock special interactions by completing unique challenges within the world.
