Side Quests and Bounties The city is full of people who need your help. Take their odd jobs, earn credits, and spend them on upgrades. Premise Aether Corp (AECO) rose to power by selling immortality. They developed the technology that transfers a human soul and binds it to a machine. High-end robotic models go to the elites. Everyone else signs up for the basic model, often getting trapped in debt doing the company's bidding. To enforce their rule, AECO's executives employ ninjas to silence dissent and eliminate threats. Meanwhile, the corporation's science division conducts horrific experiments in secret. You wake up with a fragmented memory in an underground facility. AECO has stolen your soul and now you are dying. You need to take it back. Development Aethercore is a solo-developed game.
