XenoFields: Frontier

Cultivate the Unknown in XenoFields: Frontier! After crashlanding on an unfamiliar world, you (and up to +3 of your friends) must brave unique biomes discovering new life forms through the flora and fauna, designing new materials to ameliorate your living conditions, splicing together Earth and alien plants to create more sustainable hybrids, and ultimately terraforming the planet! Till, sow, water, harvest, craft, construct, discover, analyze, adapt, but most importantly – have fun! Adventure and Discover Alien Flora and Fauna! Wander unique biomes to discover new life forms. Chop down or bash the plant then take a sample of the biomass but be careful - you’re not certain that they’re safe! To bring the sample home, first you must play the Sequencing MiniGame and successfully match the base pairs to determine a portion of this species genome. Next, bring the biomass to your Spaceship and use the Biomass Analyzer to unlock the alien item’s purpose. Lastly, all alien lifeforms have similar biomass, you can destroy unwanted items and use the Biomass Converter to create targeted items which better suit your play style. Focus on raising animals, growing crops, or adventuring outwards to complete quests! Build a Sustainable Farm! Refine the alien flora samples into unique materials then craft buildings to make the Crash Site more habitable, including greenhouses to capture oxygen from plants and barns to house your animals. While adventuring you’ll need to keep an eye out for the Cryochambers which were ejected right before your Spaceship crashed! These cryochambers contain Earthen seeds and animal embryos which you’ll need to jumpstart your farm. Other Features - Four Player CoAdventure (Co-op) - Manage Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide - Your Spacesuit is equipped with two gas tanks. As you adventure, you will deplete the oxygen tank and store carbon dioxide in the process. Exploit the cycle of these gases to increase the efficiency of your farm and to adventure further out from the Crash Site! - Customize Alien Item Names - You’re the first human on this planet so you have the rights to name all the life forms that you’ve discovered! - Earthen/Alien Hybrid Plants - Splice Earthen and Alien Seeds to create hybrid plants which produce oxygen. Planting these hybrids in specific locations will begin terraforming the biome to be more human-habitable. - Fix Your Spaceship - Recover your lost Spaceship pieces by solving puzzles and finding your way through mazes in each biome. - Play Through The Night - This alien world has various day and night cycles within a 24-hour period (what is an “hour” on this planet anyway?). Unlike other farming RPGs, you will not be interrupted at 2 am and forced to begin the following day. You may explore and farm as long as you have the energy and oxygen available.
