The Place: Beneath the Mind

Explore different places, each with a different visual theme, from a liminal Backrooms labyrinth to an aquarium deep below the ocean with frutiger aero and Y2K vibes. A vast open area with different biomes is also explorable alongside other locations. Not all areas are safe! Some feature threats you should be prepared to avoid. Notes left by someone who has been in your situation before will help. Each level has a different mechanic, so you will have to figure out each of them to proceed onto the next one. For example, one level features an escalation of events and threats, another one requires you to carefully explore rooms to find keys and open doors, also by backtracking to previously unaccessible places. How did you end up in this weird world? Who is writing the notes? Why do the rooms you explore look like that? It's up to you to have a deeper understanding of the place you're in. Read notes, observe the environment and discover which one of the two endings you get, based on your playstyle. The more you explore, the more you may understand.
