Read your opponent, choose your attack, block incoming blows and time a perfect parry to create an opening. Loot equipment, develop your fighter and survive four distinct solo PvE modes.Arena — Earn your freedom. Then test your limits. Fight for Freedom takes your gladiator from the Roman Slave Pit to the Grand Colosseum through six arenas. Face duels, outnumbered battles, team fights, free-for-alls, animal encounters and champions. Choose your route and strengthen your equipment, attributes and perks as you work toward freedom. Winning your freedom unlocks Endless Arena: a separate gladiator and a continuous, increasingly difficult climb beginning at level one. Arenas, enemies and encounters change between fights. See three battles ahead, face mini-bosses and champions, and make use of periodic rest, merchant, forge and treasure opportunities. Push beyond your personal best and record your run in the Run Chronicle.Horde — Survive the dead Battle escalating waves of shamblers, runners, brutes and acid-spitting zombies across changing arenas. Choose equipment, upgrades and perks between waves. Avoid rotating traps and the toxic ground left behind by later enemies. Later battles can unleash two traps at once.Capture — Claim the standard Scavenge a generated dungeon filled with AI rivals, animals, traps, weapons, armor and perk tomes. Build your loadout, equip perks, then fight to hold the central standard uncontested—or become the last survivor. Every match is a fresh start, and every detour for better loot leaves your rivals time to advance.Extraction — Descend, loot and escape Explore dungeon floors with changing enemy encounters, fight creatures and armed opponents, gather resources and unlock your path with keys. Wield melee weapons or a bow, collect materials, refine resources and craft equipment. Extract your spoils and return to your safe haven to trade, prepare and develop your character. Death leaves your carried belongings in a recovery bag: brave the dungeon again to reclaim them.Build your fighter. Find your opening. - Customize your fighter with Roman, Knight, Viking, Samurai or Pirate backgrounds, plus hair, beard and skin options. - Master directional attacks, blocks and perfect parries, with melee weapons, shields and bows. - Shape your build through equipment rarity, attributes and perks. - Survive spear traps, flame jets, arrow rain and catapult strikes. - Track the battles, damage, kills and equipment that define your arena run in the Run Chronicle. - Learn each mode through its introduction and controls screen, with configurable gameplay bindings and controller settings. - Experience stylized low-poly environments, bloody impacts and dramatic combat effects. All four modes are single-player PvE experiences. Arena team fights and free-for-alls use AI fighters; there is no online multiplayer.
