Managing Up

Managing Up is an idle game built around office management and simulation. Unlike other simulation games, you’ll play as a worker starting from the very bottom, rather than play as the boss. Recruit workers, pack the desks, arrange your project and offices, squeeze your colleagues for every last drop of KPI - then take all the KPI yourself and climb your way up the promotion ladder. Authorized by a boss who's always offline, you'll name and manage your very own project team: fit out the office and arrange your colleagues' training, meetings, promotions, and more. Click on a colleague to check their workload — or click like a maniac to nag them into working harder. You can also ask HR to recruit fresh hires, or "optimize" your headcount (don't worry, the severance for anyone you optimize won't come out of your account). This game is made for workers and by workers. Turn on minimize mode and it shrinks into a fully functional, genuinely usable notepad, so you can hide the game in a flash the moment as your boss walks by.
