Pull symbols one by one and decide how far to press your luck: stop early and play it safe, or keep drawing to fuel a bigger play. The elements you gather become crystals, which you place onto the symbol slots of waiting portal cards. Match a portal's full requirement and it ignites — claimed, scored, and yours. Six true elements flow through the Animus — Air, Earth, Fire, Life, Shadow, and Water — alongside rare Wildcards that bend to whatever you need most. ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Four Colors of Magic - Blue — Attunement. Permanent portals that teach a chosen element to act as a wildcard for the rest of the match. Open them early and every future play gets easier. - Purple — Power. Pure, demanding portals worth the highest raw points. No tricks, just glory for the mage who can pay their price. - Green — Foresight. Quiet portals that score nothing now but multiply at the very end — rewarding you for the elements you hoard and the portal colors you collect. Plant them early, reap them late. - Yellow — Sorcery. Instant bursts of magic: conjure crystals from nowhere, place them anywhere, rearrange the board, or tear open extra portals on the spot. The improviser's school.
