The main character, Hachiya, is the commander of the combat unit of the Army's secret intelligence service, ``Theatre.'' By chance, he was busy doing chores with Yuzaki and Inugami, who became his subordinates. Then, news arrives of a series of bombings by the anarchist Fox Masked Party (Komento), which is causing a stir in the world. Hachiya embarks on an investigation with Utagawa, who was at the scene for some reason... On the other hand, a woman, Akino, came to sightsee the imperial capital. Along with his childhood friend Asahina, he gets involved in a bombing incident. "I hate cherry blossoms. It brings back bad memories." -- Hachiya pursues the Komento for revenge. ``I like cherry blossoms because they remind me of important promises.'' One of Theater's staff members, he is the only person who knows Hachiya's secret. He is a vigilant man who is always devising a plan, He is often looked down upon because of his smiling face and teasing behavior. He rarely appears on the scene, but this time he seems to be moving on his own... ■Akino Minemori "Repent what you did wrong in front of me!" A cheerful woman who knows Kendo. He comes to the imperial capital to meet his childhood friend Asahina, who has become a soldier, but gets involved in an incident there. Because of his sense of justice, he tends to get involved in trouble, which worries his other childhood friend. ■Eiichiro Yuzaki CV:Kotaro Nishiyama "I will silence you if you order me to." Hachiya's subordinate. At first glance, he appears to be a nice young man with his elegant demeanor and soft tone. In fact, he is an ambitious person with a dark side.
