Gembound

Gembound is a roguelite match-3 RPG that combines deckbuilding with turn-based puzzle combat. Your gem satchel is your deck, and the board is dealt from it. Choose what goes into your satchel, then take it into dungeons where you and the enemy fight over the same board. Match gems, cast spells, and pay attention to what you leave behind. A match that helps you now can open up an opportunity for your opponent. Spells give you ways to change the board and turn a difficult position in your favour. Play as a Warrior, Mage, or Rogue and build a satchel to suit your class and spells. The gems you bring determine what appears on the board, so choosing your deck is part of preparing for every fight. Collect gems, improve their quality, and add enchantments. Experiment with different combinations of gems and spells to find a build you enjoy. Upgraded gems make your matches stronger without giving the enemy the same bonuses. Choose your route through branching dungeon paths. Fight monsters, take on elites, and prepare for bosses as you collect rewards along the way. Different enemies bring their own spells and abilities, giving you new problems to solve with your build. Bring an animal companion into battle for support. For an additional challenge, enter optional Rift encounters, where altered combat rules come with extra rewards. Decide which fights to take on as you work your way through the dungeon. Your gem collection, unlocked spells, and companion progress carry over between runs. Each return to the Hub gives you a chance to use what you have collected and rethink your build. Adjust your satchel, try a different spell combination, or switch classes before heading back into the dungeon.
