Distant Trails is a single-player third-person adventure mystery following a group of trail runners on their travels. Protect the big outdoors: A quiet getaway to a remote island to get back to nature and run some trails is about to take a twist into the unexpected. Take your trail runners on an adventure through the varied landscape negotiating the terrain and managing your supplies. Work as a team to uncover the truth about what is happening on the island. Features: - A beautiful muddy open world filled with story driven missions and running challenges. - Designed by a trail runner to have real world trail running problems to deal with like injury, fuelling and getting enough sleep. - Physical running simulation with varying hill gradients and ground surfaces all affecting speed and foot grip. - Resource management of supplies on the trail with limited space in backpacks. - Control multiple characters with different running strengths to switch between and work together as a team. - Continuous save system allows exiting the game at any time and resuming later or quick reloading if need to undo an action.
