Barnburners is 5-on-5 arcade hockey built for huge hits, dirty dangles and top shelf goals. It's a love letter to the games of the '90s and early '00s. Keep your head up Move the puck, find the one-timer and change lines before tired legs cost you. A big check can turn your defense into a fast attack the other way. Tune penalties, offside and icing to the way you want to play. Pick from 24 semi-fictional clubs, each with its own roster and a captain with a signature ability. Boston and Philly hit hard. Detroit plays two-way hockey. Find your favrotie team, or create your own with custom rosters and teams. When the gloves come off, throw and block the punches yourself. With multiple fight modes you can figure out what you like best, or just let fights resolve automatically. Build your Franchise Set your lines, make deadline trades, sign free agents, and draft your next stars. Stay under the cap, make the playoffs and chase the Clevenger Cup. Handle player requests for bigger roles, revisit old trades and draft classes, and take your GM career to another club. Play solo or online with friends to see who can manage their BHL team the best! Outdoor Games Take your team out into the fresh air! Special outdoor games can be played standalone or also within Franchise mode. Play in the afternoon, at sunset, or under the lights, or even with snowy conditions to mix things up. Head to Pond Hockey to relax with basic 3 on 3 action. Get the puck stuck in the snowbanks, watch the dog fetch your pucks, and play until somebody wins by two. More ways to play - Play solo or with up to four people in local exhibition. Share a team or play 2v2. Online play is 1v1 head to head. - Try 3-on-3 Arcade, short season "Cup Runs" and "Gauntlets", Visit "Training Camp" to hone your skills, and turn on "House Rules" modifiers to change up how the game plays. - Rewatch your best plays in Instant Replay, export them as GIFs, and line up a shot in Photo Mode. Barnburners is currently a one man show, so in-game feedback, the discord, and the community hub help me decide what to work on next.
