Summary Ardent: Rise is a fantasy real-time action RPG with primarily tab-target, ability-driven combat, strong tank / damage / healing roles, and a multiplayer CO-OP PVE focus. What are the core tenets of the game? - Implement the "holy trinity" (Tank, Heals, Damage) archetypes in a narrative rich environment, - Create fun, thematic, and customizable RPG classes, - Focus on an exciting PVE CO-OP experience Game Play - 3D semi-open world with real-time combat - Combat is primarily tab-target with growing hybrid action elements (directional attacks, dodges, and positional play) in tougher encounters. - PVE CO-OP - 5 Players - There are Towns and Dungeons with NPCs and enemies/bosses - Dungeons will provide varied enemy encounters that can be increased in difficulty for more challenging play - Characters can be leveled by gaining experience through exploration, quests, and interactions such as combat - There are loot items that you can equip, which can be gained as rewards from quests and combat, or through crafting - Abilities, Skills, Talents, and Professions can all be applied to customize your character capabilities - Mild narrative choices during story progression and world exploration The game is currently a limited-slice prototype and is entirely self-funded.
