THE HALLWAY is a chilling, text-based psychological horror experience where you must uncover the tragic truth of who you are, and how you came to be trapped inside this nightmarish world. But no matter what you do. You always get dragged back. Over and over again. THE HALLWAY slowly unravels an emotional, disturbing mystery surrounding your character, revealing pieces of the truth through environmental changes, hidden details, strange encounters, and fragmented memories. The deeper you go, the more familiar everything becomes. And the more you begin to wonder... How much of this place is real? THE HALLWAY doesn't simply repeat. It evolves. Throughout the game, you'll be brought back to the place where you first woke up. But things won't always be the same. What was once familiar may not be there the next time you return. Reality isn't always reliable. Throughout your journey, random hallucinations and reality glitches can occur, creating unexpected encounters and altering what you see. These events can reveal additional pieces of the story and offer exploration while ensuring that different playthroughs can contain different experiences. You never know what will change next. A Memory System records important discoveries throughout your journey, helping you piece together clues and solve puzzles without forcing you to memorize everything yourself. Every decision you make is tracked by a hidden psychological system. Three distinct stats influence your journey: INSTABILITY ACCEPTANCE AVOIDANCE Your choices can affect more than just dialogue. They can change: - Environments - Events - Dialogue - Puzzles - Available paths - And ultimately, your ending But THE HALLWAY is watching more than your choices. A second, completely hidden system remembers how you behave. You will never see these behaviors recorded. But THE HALLWAY remembers. Your behavior can influence: - Hallucinations - Environmental changes - Rare events - Alternate scenes - Subtle dialogue - What the Hallway chooses to show you No two journeys through THE HALLWAY are guaranteed to feel the same. There are four possible endings, each reflecting the path you took through the hallway. Which one will you reach? Sound is a major part of the experience. THE HALLWAY features dynamic audio that changes alongside the game, including a soundtrack composed specifically for the game. Different loops, locations, events, hallucinations, and endings can trigger different sounds and music. Sometimes the most frightening thing isn't what you see. It's what you hear.
