The Crown

The Crown is a visual novel set in the early 2000s urban East Coast, where you guide a character from age 12 through age 18, on the road to becoming an underworld boss. As you play, your character will grow and change. You'll meet people who may offer you work or threaten you. Challenges will become harder and you'll succeed or fail based on your preparation and a little luck. When the game ends, your score will be applied to grant Profile Points that accumulate across runs. The interesting things you do will also unlock new starting Experiences, Contacts and Equipment. This means your next character can be stronger and explore differently. Each ending will be determined by your choices and strategy. You may die, go to prison, or simply give up on crime as a career. Or you may take the first steps on the path to being a boss in your chosen profession.
