Earth's last hope is a minor league team. The Hickory Creek Squirrels are a small town ball club with a very big problem. Earth's survival now depends on them winning an intergalactic baseball tournament. You're in charge, from the first pitch to the last out. Hit, pitch, field, and run the bases in a fully playable arcade baseball game. At least you get to bring a fire bat. Hit the road. Build your lineup. The other teams don't play fair. Every run is a chance to find a combination of gear that breaks the game in your favor. Choose your route across a randomized road trip map, pick up new equipment, and decide who gets it before the next game. Gear up for the next game. Every player has four equipment slots: a bat, a pitch, fielding gear, and headwear. Who gets what is up to you. Here's a little of what's in the bag so far: Bats Read the pitch, react fast, and time your swing. The bat you've equipped can turn solid contact into a much bigger problem for the defense. Pitches Find new pitches along the road trip and build your arsenal each run. Pick your spot and time your release, whether you're throwing a curveball or something stranger. Fielding gear A little extra reach. A lot more arm. Equip your fielders for the plays you need them to make, then get out there and make them. Headwear Scout Shades, for example, help you read an incoming pitch at the plate or spot a batter's weaknesses from the mound. A solo developed game by fake_architech.
