Raiding Season

Raiding Season is a turn-based tactical RPG where you command a party of Viking raiders in search of wealth, glory, and a place in legend. - Lead your warriors across dangerous coastal regions, choosing where to raid, what to plunder, and when to retreat. Every battle takes place on a tactical hex grid where positioning, terrain, action points, and careful coordination can decide the fate of your warband. - Build a crew from distinct classes, each with its own strengths and battlefield role. Hold the line with a stalwart Huscarl, unleash a Berserker into the enemy ranks, support your warriors with a Skald, or maneuver into the perfect position with a skilled Pathfinder. Customize each to fit your play style using their unique talent trees. - Equip your raiders with different weapons, armor, and abilities to shape how they fight. Axes can leave enemies bleeding, hammers can shatter armor, spears can overwhelm opponents with rapid attacks, and bows can break an enemy’s morale before the killing blow is struck. - Every raid is a balance between ambition and survival. Gold, supplies, and valuable equipment will weigh down your warband, making the journey home increasingly dangerous. Push deeper for greater rewards, or escape while you still have the strength to carry your spoils. - Your actions will not go unnoticed. As villages burn and your reputation spreads, local forces will begin to mobilize. Guard towers will raise the alarm, army camps will reinforce nearby defenders, and increasingly powerful enemies will be sent to stop you. - Recruit new warriors, improve your veterans, and prepare your raiding party for increasingly dangerous expeditions. Injuries, losses, and hard-earned victories will shape the story of each campaign. - The greatest raiders are not those who simply win the battle. They are the ones who know how much to take—and when it is time to sail home.
