Chess — seen through a different geometry. Radial Chess preserves the complete ruleset of classical chess while transforming the board into a curved radial structure wrapped around a central axis. Every rule remains intact: - Pieces move exactly as they do in traditional chess - Check, checkmate, castling, and draws all function normally - The full 64-square game is preserved But the board itself has changed. Ranks bend into circular arcs. Diagonals curve across the play space. Familiar positions become unfamiliar at a glance, forcing you to rethink pattern recognition, direction, and spatial awareness.
