Idle While Staying Productive PomoFish is based on the Pomodoro studying technique with a unique spin. In the Pomodoro studying technique, you write down what you would like to accomplish, work for a certain duration of time (usually 30 or 60 minutes), take a break, and repeat the process. Each time you take a break, your brain gets some much needed rest, enabling you to stay productive for longer. PomoFish takes a fresh approach to this technique by rewarding you for your hard work. Collect Rare Fish! What is that reward you may ask? It is catching unique and cool fish! Each time that a player finishes their study/work session, they will be able to view and sell the fish that they have caught. With the money gained from each fishing session, you can upgrade your skills so that you can catch a greater quantity of fish and rarer varieties. There are currently 6 different rarities of fish (common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, and mythic) and over 30 different fish. Each fish has a custom appearance so discovering a new fish is always rewarding. PomoFish Does Not Get in the Way PomoFish's environment can be seamlessly scaled and moved to fit your study setup. The UI will disappear after a certain time of inactivity to prevent visual distractions. This is all made possible by a transparent background and clickthrough functionality. Full Day-Night Cycle The work-rest cycle is represented in PomoFish by a day-night cycle. Your fisherman fishes from dusk till dawn and sleeps through the night. Build your house from scratch! Build your own cozy home from scratch. Each part of the house is bought individually, giving you the satisfaction of building it piece by piece. Customization Buy unique cosmetics to customize your fisherman's appearance and environment. Buy hats for Joe and change the color of his skin, shirt, pants, and boots. To spice up your study sessions, there are different themes that represent seasons and locations. In addition to this, you can also customize your shelter.
