BEFORE YOU BUY: "Missing" is a short horror adventure that is meant to scare the player. Based on a true story, my game is about finding a way out of an abandoned buried cave complex after the player has entered it. "Missing" is a storyline experience and to understand the game you have to pay attention to every detail. STORY: The game "Missing" takes place in the year 2009. You are on your way to a family dinner and, as always, you take the shortcut through the forest, as the restaurant is only a few kilometers away. As you are in the middle of the forest on your bike, you notice a small entrance surrounded by heavy stones. You are just too curious and crawl in, not knowing if you will be able to get out again. You find a few remnants of research that was done in this cave and want to know what is behind all the paths. Suddenly you hear a loud rustling, stones rumble down the entrance and the shaking is like an earthquake, suddenly the daylight disappears. Now you have to find a way out and keep calm. You will come across many dead ends, you will have to suppress your claustrophobia and you will follow hundreds of paths. You have disappeared in a huge labyrinth of stones. You are reported missing reported.. DESIGN AND GRAPHICS: This game was programmed in the view of a cell phone camera, a 9:16 resolution, to provide a realistic experience. The game and the levels were presented as gloomy, dark and foggy. I also pay a lot of attention to the sound design, which is why "Missing" is characterized by a low frequency in the background. The slight rustling of the shoes in the dirt and the camera shaking caused by the adrenaline and fear gives the game a unique experience. IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: "Missing" contains jump scares, both visual and auditory. The game contains NO phobic elements, except for claustrophobia.
