Joymaker

Joymaker is an indie horror game set in a toy factory. Play as a mysterious figure, by the name of John, with strange tasks scrawled in his journal, and unravel the secrets of this terrible place and the mind of a man who has lost everything. Follow John through 5 days of "work" in a factory that's been abandoned for a year. Craft the toys on the to-do list in your journal at workbenches you will find throughout the toy factory. Complete the list before you go home for the day. Be careful. You are not alone in this place. While you do your job, you might find that something is lurking in the dark behind you. You can turn around to see where it is, but you must turn away from it to continue work. Never forget to take your Happy Pills! Everything is more normal when you take them, when you can't remember why you need them. There are consequences if you go for extended periods without them. In the dark, your lantern is your guide and your only shield. That thing does not like the light. Remember that you can stand up at any time, but it is likely a bad idea to do so while it's nearby. Scare it away first to safely leave the workbench. Do not, however, make the mistake of believing you are safe. While you make less noise traversing the factory than working, it still hunts. The light may scare it, but if it gets close enough, nothing will stop it. Pray that does not happen.
