Romance storylines are accessible in every phase, and unique romantic content unlocks only when you ascend to monarch. The combat system works in layers. One-on-one duels and team fights run in turn-based mode. Large-scale wars between cities adopt turn-based strategy gameplay, where you arrange troops to seize territories across the continent.
