Crayon Legend

In the realm of Crayonia the world was once a beautiful place, that is at least for the nobles of the realm. Each of the 8 Royals became focused only on what made them happy. They stole the wealth from the surrounding lands until the towns began to dry up and fall to ruin. An Enchantress called the Timekeeper, showed pity on the Crayon Kingdom, and placed a curse on the Crayonian bloodline. Removing the castle from time, she placed the Floating Island into a never ending rainbow storm, and unleashed a Never-endingly Hungry Mimic to eat all of their possessions. The nobles were turned into Magic Doors and forced to watch. Until the Mimic was sated they couldn't escape. She left behind Beholders to put them back in their frames if they ever discovered a way to escape. Having found the Magic book containing the Legend, you are Transported to the Timelocked Island. It's now your job to Jump, Lift, Search, and Feed in order to restore kingdom to its former glory and save the Nobles from themselves before the Timer runs out and you're trapped here forever. Crayon Legend is a 3D platformer in a vast Magical Castle Open World environment. As you explore you unlock 8 Sections of the Castle which contain Thousands of Items. The Mimic Monster at the center of the Castle will request these items and a Timer will begin. Gather what it asks for before the timer runs out or it will wake the Beholders. If they catch you before you give the Mimic what it asked for you'll be thrown out of the castle and it will randomize the locations of the content forcing you to start that part of your search over again. Unlock all 8 doors & free the Nobles to activate the portal and find your way home. The game features a hand-coded Physics system where everything smaller than a treasure chest is movable, and can be carried through the castle. Run, Jump, Lift, and Throw your way through thousands of unique objects to find the treasures to sate the Mimic. Bonk the woken Beholders and Dash through the castle to find safety when you fail. This is Family Friendly title, meant to be something you can throw on the Steam Deck and giggle to. It features cartoon shenanigans and 4th wall jokes. You can hand this one to a kiddo, or settle in and stream to your community without worry about anything untoward. The game is Paid DLC and Microtransaction free. The game features Letters and Hints left behind by the servants before the curse set in. Alongside a vast library of narration about the areas and objects you find (triggered by a hotkey on demand while you're holding the items) the game tells a fairy tale about a unique cast of characters straight out of a Grimm's Fairy Tale. Every Game randomizes the path through the Castle Grounds. And each time the map or game loads the contents of the castle rooms are randomized, as well as the locations of the keys and hints. Every time you play you'll get faster, but you'll always be hunting to find the items you need to move forward. Keep a close eye on what is in each room though, the former owners were very particular on what went in each room, so you'll start to catch patterns on where to go when the Mimic has a specific snack in mind. You'll need to be clever to unlock the ever-growing library of achievements for the cast collection of items and experiences in the Wax Castle.
