"BLOK 200: Prologue" is an atmospheric visual novel with elements of psychological horror and surrealism, set in the universe of the Samosbor. You are an impossible creature without a pulse or breath, but for some reason you are still alive. You awoke to another Samosbor in a stranger's hab-cell on one of the thousands of floors of the 200th Gigablock. It is also called Gigablock 2-00-TsKG-541. Your old life: your best friend, your technical college, your dreams and aspirations – was left behind somewhere in the quiet incubator block. You will have to let go of the past, accept this sad present and understand who you are now. And also prepare to search for the one who came to you in a fantastic dream before your awakening. The game focuses on: - narrative and atmosphere; - character psychology and personal stories; - uncovering the lore of the 200th Gigablock and the Gigakhrush itself. Gameplay: - reading a branching narrative and dialogue-driven story; - making choices that influence the course of events and the ending; - an in-game interactive encyclopedia (Gigapedia) for deeper exploration of the world. Features: - a dark post-Soviet cyberpunk setting in the megastructure; - an original world that exists within the established Samosbor canon while revealing it from new and unexpected perspectives; - an authentic diegetic retro-styled interface; - literally every player action has an impact on the plot; - multiple endings depending on what the protagonist ultimately becomes.
