Basterd Sword

Basterd Sword is a high-fantasy, open world RPG with a focus on exploration, sand box freedom and serious consequences. You do not play a legendary hero, you simply exist in a brutal world that's indifferent to you. Your story will tell of failure and retreat. There is no scaling from player level, very little hand holding, and no difficulty settings beyond the character you choose to play. If you'd like to, for some reason, live as a goblin, expect to be treated like one. Real-time, directional combat combines an element of skill with the depth and stats of a CRPG. Grow stronger by improving your magic, fighting and survival skills. Collect equipment that inherits properties from the material it's made from and endure hardships like disease, capture and mutilation. In Basterd Sword, your stats belong to your limbs but your limbs might not always belong to you. A serious head injury will lower your intelligence and perception while your arms and legs will dictate the speed of your attacks and movement. You fight not just with people and monsters you encounter, but with your own body as well. All of this applies to everyone, all creatures in this world are subject to the same rules.
