After a “violation,” Agent 03 is sent to the Simulation Zone of a dangerous sector—as both punishment and a test.
This is a laboratory operated by an anomaly containment organization, designed to simulate environments where public records have become distorted. Within each scene, the relationships between rooms, objects, and rules may defy easy explanation. With the help of your partner, you must work from limited clues to identify anomalies, determine what is safe, and gradually reconstruct one unregistered scene after another.
Through field dialogue, investigative deduction, and the confirmation of your findings, the game unfolds a series of uncanny puzzles with hidden stories beneath their surface. As your investigation progresses, you will encounter different kinds of scene rules, moving from simple relationships of quantity and position to more complex logic involving direction, range, distance, and connectivity. Every discovery confirms something about the current scene—and may also change how you understand the clues you already have.
Anomalies do not always reveal themselves at a glance. What matters is observing details, organizing clues, and taking responsibility for your conclusions.
When a scene is finally registered anew, you will be one step closer to understanding the hidden rules of this world.
